My friend Jack sent me this link which gives new meaning to the old saw about speaking with a “forked tongue.” It doesn’t strike me as shocking, doesn’t strike me as cool, just stupid - which means my age is showing I guess. I had thought about getting a tattoo well before they became so “mainstream.” There’s nothing unique or special about tattoos anymore if anything, they’ve become quite pedestrian and commonplace. I just wonder if all these young, pretty people had given any kind of thought to how that tattoo will look on an old sagging body – not much I’d venture.
